Is it a bad thing to bypass the filter?

I have the ventilation system as well as the summer kit addition and the heat transfer system.

The way I see it is that there is no need to filter the air in the heat transfer system as it has been filtered on the way in, and it must be seriously slowing down the transfer rate. I have never really noticed it transferring heat to any great affect.

In fact I imagine the only intake that really needs filtering is the ceiling space which is dusty and dirty, I don't have a problem with unfiltered outdoors air, I breathe it relatively often with no adverse effects
