I had a 6 year old rangehood stop working as the extractor fan unit died. I was ready to go all CGA on them but without too much hassle they agreed via a phone call to replace it at their cost. Overall been a better experience than I had expected and based on that not so concerned about my much more $$ double door fridge. Good to see this is at least as good as the Samsung approach for the Induction Hob power board issues I've been blessed with. Always at Xmas, lol.

I've found the same, F&P have been good to deal with.

Yep also Bosch and Samsung dealing with them direct after warranty exceeded my expectations. I think this is becoming very common now and also good service means you'll more than likely buy their brand again.

Cedit is due for F & P parts people as well.

Their attitude to what is truely an unecconomic repair on an ancient bread maker showed great patience as they worked through that one.  Part no longer available.  Also with an out of time front loading washing machine needing bearings.  Their pricing was good with prompt delivery next day a Saturday to South Island.

I understand that bearings and seals are generic and China has reached the moon but even at three times the price F & P proved their worth.

complete opposite experience to what i had with my oven , all elements in the oven failed after 5 years and F& P said it was out of warranty and when i mentioned the CGA they asked what that was, explained and after they got back to me they said they would pay for the parts but i had to cover the labour, not happy but then after the tradesman came out to see what parts i was told that they all failed because the oven was dirty and it was my fault for not keeping it spotless, still in talks. but i will never buy another F&P appliance .

Common sense is not as common as you think.
