NOT sports turf line marking paint (which is all my google searches seem to give me)... I am after some very temporary paint to mark out sprinkler arcs while I plan coverage of my lawn sprinkler system. I have come up short on my searches.

 

Anyone done this? Know of a product?

Not specifically temporary, but there's this sort of basic marking paint https://www.bunnings.co.nz/dy-mark-350g-fluro-yellow-spray-mark-spray-paint_p1580421

 

Have used it on grass, and doesn't take too long before the grass grows out/ it get mowed over.

I was going to suggest the same - worked great when we were planning gardens on what was a huge lawn. A week or so later, barely a trace.

I use builder's chalk: https://www.bunnings.co.nz/irwin-strait-line-hi-vis-fluro-chalk-yellow_p5663419

Though it's not exactly what it's for.

Using a green variant of the above 'fluorescent' paint would be even less noticeable after a few days. Still visible for the purpose required, though.

Flour in a coke bottle with the bottom cut out for easy filling. Hose away when finished. Also could use lime, good for the lawn too.

Use builders chalk or even go to a sports equipment shop and ask about some temporary spray paint in a can used for marking sports fields.
