We have a bit of suntuf over a deck. Its not rainproof from above, especially in a corner where it meets the house. The main thing is it falls in two directions. Kind of like this -

but at a much shallower angle. I'm not sure how the ridge is done, but any thoughts on how it could be improved / sealed better, especially in that corner.

Access is a bit of a problem, and I might just get someone in who knows what they're doing, but any thoughts ?

really need pics of it.

i would check how the back dam has been done. thats critical on low angle roofs.

a lot of deck roofs are done so they go over the top of the house roof, that way they don't have to join the roof and have leakage problems. however because there is a gap between the two, wind blown rain can get through.

Might be able to do a pick later, but its not well done. The Suntuf goes under the house roof, which looks ugly and its not screws down there, so it flaps about in the breeze. Also the overlapping panels is generally good but probably need some sealant as well. Also, in that corner there's of course a V in the house roof so the rain rushes down there into the gutter but can overflow.

o that looks like a cluster *. looks like someone has attempted to fix some sort of issue. it looks like the clearlite goes under the sofit and its sloping down into that corner. that all needs to be pulled.

the white painted timber looks like original, probably had the clearlite end at that and a bit of a gap between that and the house. then someone's tried to close that gap up. any rain (or overflow) or condensation on that bit underneath will run right into the corner. i would pull that all off and then have a look.

Not really sloping down in that corner, or not permanently. As mentioned, it not screwed down under the sofit, so can flap up and down in the wind, but its so close to the wall it can get stuck against it in different positions.

Anyhow, as you say, needs removing and doing properly.
