heylinb4nz: Oh dear, magic as seen on TV rubbish.
There is no secret to stone chip repair.
The best product is a toothpick and some colour matched paint mixed up at your local Autolink or Linkup paint supply. Total cost < $30 and enough paint to do scratches and stone chips for a lifetime.
A super fine brush from Warehouse stationary is also a good thing to have in your detailing kit.
Fill up the divit, and let harden for a week, next time you buff car they all flatten off and you can hardly see them.
wasabi2k: On a similar topic - if the paint is wearing through on a patch on the bumper or hood is there any way to cost effectively repair/recoat it or is it a professional respray?
edit: Also, thanks for the info above - will have a look for my color code tonight.
sep11guy: can someone recommend a company who can come in ( mobile vans ) and repair scratches etc.
I called 2 company's but dont know seems they cant be bothered to attend to jobs
