Dingbatt:
As far as I know he was born in South Africa, so as far as running for President goes, it will have to be left to our imagination.
True, but still an influent figure.

Is there no way to motivate him to personally embark on "the greatest Mars adventure ever"? But he is probably too smart for that.

Apparently he has been asked in an interview if he would take a ride on one of his ships, say the one going to space station and return.
It was Yeh----Nah.
I suppose its one thing that 2001 did miss, was that while it is all calm and floaty once you are up.
The ride getting there is pretty wild, G Force does not lie.
An astronaut did say the Space Station is a bit smelly too.

While touring a Texas jail, he got a whiff that triggered memories of the ISS

McCallum told New Scientist that solid and liquid human waste products would get put into bags and used as a radiation shield – as well as being dehydrated so that any water can be recycled for drinking. “Dehydrate them as much as possible, because we need to get the water back,” he said. “Those solid waste products get put into a bag, put right back against the wall.”

Maybe this can be basis for above ground habitat until you can find a cave too. :-)
Oups, I think one star after the other is sinking. When a mass-produced product like a (electric) car design has to be made with an accuracy of less than 10 microns, it's not mass-produced goods that Joe just wants to cruise around with. However, you can set the accuracy requirements high in order to blame your production engineers in the end. Or to impress your clueless fan-boys.
What's next? Varying tolerances due to temperature variations of the pickup in Alaska and Death Valley? Perhaps he would have apprenticed himself to Mr Ford first.
The hen is the smartest creature on earth. Why?

Tesla car? There are better alternatives.
Satellites? I don‘t use starlink.
Twitter? I don‘t have an account. X not at all.
I am always in favour of new technologies, but it always depends on which waving flags you go into your life with.
