I have a pair of Microlab at home but sadly these are no longer available. The speakers I am currently using for my office computer are common Logitech and they are "tinny" and "bassy". Basically, a noticeable difference to my Microlab pair.

What is a good replacement? I only need stereo.

after having multiple pairs of logitech speakers die for no reason, I bought these

as i didn't need anything fancy and just wanted some desktop sound if other people needed to hear (I'm always wearing headphones)

I've been totally happy with these, nothing great, but not terrible either.

Jump on Trademe and get some second hand studio monitors with USB DAC - you'll get much better quality. These are expensive ones but the quickest link I could provide: https://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instruments/pa-pro-audio-dj-equipment/speakers/listing-1844289975.htm

I picked up some really nice Alesis M1 Active speakers for about $250

they do a passive pair as well if you already have amplification.   these are awesome.

Thanks for that. Those are more than I want to spend. At this point I think the Edifier ones suggested will do the trick.
