I currently have 1x Nova-T 500, dual DVB-T card. The IR sensor is connected to the tv card, not through USB connector.
What happens when I install the second tv tuner card? Let's say it is another Hauppauge, maybe this keeps it simple... The new card will come with an IR sensor of its own and another remote control. Do you have to use both sensors? Or just add the second card, no second IR sensor, just make all the settings in Media Portal regarding channel tunning / mapping and MP will get IR signal from the first card and will switch to the second card, if trying to access a channel mapped to that card? It makes sense, but I needed to ask...
Question about HVR-3000: can you record simultaneously from analogue Tv and DVB-S? Or just one of them at a time? With the Nova-T 500 I have, I can record lots of channels at a time, basically all channels from any two muxes of the existing (TVNZ/MediaWorks/Kordia).
Is the tv tuner 3000 capable of operating two LNBs? At this stage I am running one dish / 2x LNB / tone switch / freeview DVB-S STB. Can the tv tuner send the 22kHz tone to make the switch work? I hope I put my question with enough details to make me understood...
Where the same channel is available on DVB-T and DVB-S, is it recognised by the system as one channel, or as separate channels? Do I end up with both in the EPG?
