I`ve been using Sky via composite outputs ever since I`ve had it. First to my CRT tv, and now into my tv tuner with an supposedly high quality Belkin Composite to s-video cable. I `m pretty ignorant about these things, so I assumed that reception is s-video quality. But of course now I know that it all depends on the weakest link, which is the decoder`s composite output.

So anyway, today I decided to get a SCART to S-video cable instead, and the difference is astounding. The blue program details on sky are sharp and clear, with no fuzziness or interference, the picture is much much clearer and sharper.

So just to urge any poor uneducated soul like me who still uses composite video, do yourself a favour and ditch it in favour of Scart, Component or S-video, whichever output is available.
