I have just treated myself to a new (2011) model of 15" Macbook Pro - what a gorgeous looking machine! I got the upgraded non-reflective higher resolution screen which has silver bezel. Admittedly it doesn't look as nice as the piano black bezel ;o)
Anyway, when I'm using the trackpad my palm is usually resting on the front edge of the unit. Back in the previous model (non unibody, whatever they called it) the unit has a plastic bit running along the edge. That used to soften and made for a rounded corner. The unibody has a hard sharper edge and the edge of my palm ended up quite sore if I used the trackpad for more than 30 seconds.
Anybody else noticed this problem?
