Myelf and multiple colleagues were experincing issues with our Sierra Wireless 580 cards on Telecom.  Is anyone aware of any outage, I am Wellington based however it apparently also effected staff in New Plymouth as well.

I had a call from one of our workers in Tauranga who couldn't get his AC580 to work at about 5pm.

Was told it was a nation wide issue for most users, was fixed overnight.
Tested my card twice today and all is ok now.
Very frustrating trying to contact Telecom yesterday because of all the crappy bubble issues.

I've been having problems for about 2 weeks and the help desk can't give timeline for it being fixed. Seems it is pretty random as to who/where the problem is. I was talking to a telecom retailer who said in their  office they have two guys with the same card...one works fine and the other is having problems!

The help desk reply was "We know there's a problem, we don't know what it is so we don't have any idea when it will be fixed"

They are logging customers complaints and thats it.....when I asked about refund/compensation for an un-usable service I was told that once they find out what the problem is and find a fix they will look at each logged customer and determine the compensation based on how badly effect they are......SO if you have a problem make sure you get it logged asap!!
