I've currently got my personal mobile phone set up on a Staff Affinity Plan provided by Leading Edge to staff members in my organisation. This was dead-easy and quick to get set up; however, now I want to migrate my phone off the corporate plan and back to a consumer plan and am struggling a bit here. My fun thus far...
- I first went to a TNZ retail store and they informed me that, since I'm on a corporate plan, they can't do anything.
- I rang our Leading Edge rep, who told me that I need to get an application form from the retail store to transfer my phone.
- I informed the rep that the retail stores told me that they won't touch anything to do with corporate plan so she emailed me the form.
- This form was the worst I've ever encountered (i.e. really unclear which bits to complete) so I took it to the retail store to see if they could help me ensure it was correct (my thinking being that they're meant to supply the form to start with).
- Again, I was informed that they know nothing of this form and had never seen it before (and the guy I spoke to had worked there 2 years).
- I completed every field on the form that looked like a possible (even stuff under the Sole Trader section) and have faxed it to the 0800 number listed in the form header.
Now, I don't know where the form has gone, if it's been received by the right people, or even what the turnaround is. I'm a little gobsmacked to say the least.
