If you have spark wireless with landline (landline phone plugs into thing with simcard and wifi).

1) The only way for multiple landlines is to run cordless phones to the 1 base station which is connected to the box. Some different brands can be linked if they are dect but you can only use uniden xdect with uniden xdect models, is that correct?

2) Why would the ringing tone (inbound call) on the uniden be different? Use to have a dual ring then pause between rings now just does ring-pause-ring-pause etc is there a way to change it or is this just the tone pattern which spark has for such a setup?

For your first question, I think you're asking if you can use different branded phones to extend off the main one - the answer is no - they do have to be the same brand and compatible with expanding off. You can plug the wireless modem into a telephone jack in the house to extend the dial tone to other outlets but you will want to make sure the copper is physically disconnected from the street before doing this so that it works correctly

The second question, if no setting for ringtone has been altered on the phone and it is different on the wireless phone service, this is in the SIP settings which will be controlled by Spark

Just be careful of the REN value doing this

The B618 as a very small REN output, while not documented testing shows its about 1.5 REN output

This is why the FWA Landline is marketed with 1 base station multiple cordless phones

So you need to add up the REN from the telepermit stickers on each device and make sure it doesn't exceed 1.5 (give or take)

BT in the UK Introduced a REN Booster to get round this problem when moving people to voice over the RGW but its now discontinued

It provided 11 REN  - have a look here at specs https://il.rsdelivers.com/product/bt/870788/extension-booster-ren-11/2079519

I have not found any other device similar to it
