Chrisbexsta: I want to add sky to my account but be able to add and remove on my own without calling Vodafone because as per above no one knows what the heck they are doing ie why go through sky direct when I'm on Vodafone fibre with Vodafone TV box already

You can't add and remove Sky as you wish, Sky is a subscription based service

Vodafone TV is not Sky

It doesn't say that above. It says you can add and remove channels or order movies - adding or removing channels is adding products such as Sky sport.

You can't simply add or remove Sky online because conditions such as term contacts may apply. You need to call to do this.

I've put in a ticket suggesting that we make it clearer about what you can manage where.

Basically, if your fixed line broadband and tv Vodafone bill has ref:tcl in the top corner you will manage your services (including tv) in CustomerZone. Otherwise it's in My Vodafone desktop. (Managing TV is not included in the My Vodafone smartphone app.)

Another reason why i don't call Vodafone I want to be able to change TV options on my account where VodafoneDylan has said "(Managing TV is not included in the My Vodafone smartphone app.)" Is there actually anyone in Vodafone who knows about there products ???

I think there might be some confusion here between these two.

The Vodafone TV app (tv programme schedule, remote record for Vodafone TV box)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.digisoft.vodafone.companion

is different to the My Vodafone app (view and manage mobile account primarily)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nz.co.vodafone.android.myaccount

Sorry, it seems I was wrong. Apparently there were previously some options in CustomerZone to request changes to TV services but that's no longer available. In My Vodafone for fixed line desktop there's an option to request a new SKY service or transfer an existing SKY service to be included on your Vodafone bill.

JohnR you are aware the VodafoneTV over fibre using the VFDR or T-Box can do either Freeview or Sky channels. The company you work for is a reseller of sky and does special package deals with them, They sell it two ways, Over fibre or cable with their own Vodafone box, or they just resell the traditional satellite sky.

OP,

If you would like to add Sky to your vodafone TV you will have to call up them up on the phone, say you currently have vodafone TV with freeview and would like to upgrade it to sky channels

Wow, talk about confusing, lol... At least this thread has answered my question about being able to add Sky's channels to my existing Vodafone TV box.
