Lorenceo:Um I recently moved to Vodafone on 12 month contract. Doesn't quite resolve my original question.Always read the fine print. It's unlikely an ISP will change their clearly stated data shaping policy for one customer. Either accept it as per your sign up terms or move to another provider. We are not anti-P2P; however if our network is congested, rather than impact all customers, P2P-type traffic will be the first to be de-prioritised (slowed). We will always prioritise the more mainstream traffic types (such as video, web and gaming traffic) over P2P as this will have the greatest benefit for the majority of customers.Taken from here: http://www.vodafone.co.nz/legal/terms-conditions/unlimited-data-terms/
I did read the fine print I just didn't know it was gonna be this bad. Although others with Vodafone are not experiencing the same throttling issues so maybe it is just me and my setup.
Funny thing is I was with Vodafone 13 months ago on ADSL and torrents was working alot faster, however I was using normal Sky.
I think I will have to contact the Vodafone technical team and find out how/why/what is going on.
Thanks everyone for your feedback
