No luck but thanks for being a loyal Vodafone customer.
Nothing here either, will be a trip to the store tomorrow morning if I have time or I will be defently going into the shop on Tuesday when I am back from aussie.
I can't win the N85 as I am not on pre pay.
My mother has been with them since Bell South so I would of though she would of got something but no don't know what she is going to do though.
We will see what plans are on offer.
PS i also when through all my friends who are on vodafone and got the same response for all (20-30 people)
spazz: I tried me, my sister, my girlfriend, my Mum.. nothing.
Perhaps they should've given away 10,000 lots of $100 credit? I would've been stoked with that, $1000 is kinda excessive..?
swisskiwi: The thing I dont get is why people think that being loyal and not gettinganything like the $1000 credit and so moving to another provider such as Telecom or 2degrees will get them more. Sure they will get a a great deal if they decide to move, but then what happens after you've been with that company for 5 years, chances are you'll just be treated as an existing customer again.
I know lots of people who have been with Telecom for years and are very loyal and have never received anything for it, the same applies with Vodafone. Its just the way telecos in NZ and overseas seem to operate it. They are always interested in new customers, but never treat loyal customers all that well.
Where on the otherhand hospitality organisations strive to keep loyal customers. The main reason behind that is that it is cheaper to keep a loyal customer than to try and gain new ones. (I do have an article to back this claim, but I just cant remember where I put it)

I don't think it's becuase no one here so far has won the $1,000 creidt.
For me, i would rather Vodafone lower their prices than give away $1,000,000 (of course i wouldn't be saying that if i had won)
I also agree it may have been better to give 10,000 custmers $100 each.
Thanks a million? Why should someone get 1,000 thank you's and i don't even get 1? hehe
caldazar: I'd rather they had used the $1 million to improve their service.

Don't start that in this thread, it is totally off topic. End of story.

We?ll be giving Vodafone customers one million dollars of free airtime on Thursday to thank you for your patience while we solved network interference problems.
Doing your best is much more important than being the best.
