I've tried a few times over a few years to get this issue resolved, but without success. Now I want to find out if it is only me or if others have the same issue, and I also know the issue will get some attention through their staff on this forum.
When we signed up with XNet for a couple of years we got no spam until a TradeMe seller started mass spamming me (and I reported him to his ISP so his web site was closed). Since then I got occasional spams so I turned on the XNet spam filter. It went fine for years, but then some legitimate e-mails from overseas suppliers went to my junk mail box. I just log into webmail once a week to get those and it was no big deal. Eventually I decided to turn off the spam filter, but the option was no longer available, so I sent a help desk e-mail.
A few weeks later I realised the spam filter is still active and eventually when I could be bothered I sent another help desk e-mail referring to the first one and asking for confirmation the filter was disabled. I was told it was disabled, but the system will continue to apply filters it has learned until and I just need to continue moving e-mails from the junk folder to the inbox until the filters are unlearned, but no new filters will be applied. It sounded suspicious, but might be so.
I'm guessing it is now a year later and suddenly there are lots more filters applied to my account. E-mails from the AA, (for some time) from Sky, even some e-mails from our local church end up in the junk folder.
Am I the only one, or anyone else notice this issue? Anyone from XNet want to comment? This is the only issue I have with the services, and I could manage it before, but now it is annoying as the e-mail from our church was a duty roster which I found 3 days late in the junk folder, would not have known about it if they did not post a comment on Facebook and my wife told me about it. Thanks in advance.
