No I'm not being facetious - I mean it!! Thanks Vodafone!

I'm back in NZ after having been away for a little over 7 months, the vast majority of which time was spent in the Solomon Islands where cellphone coverage is shonky and there are no interconnect or roaming agreements with Vodafone (not that I'd pay horribly expensive roaming rates anyway).

Before I left NZ I contacted Vodafone and a cheerful CSR said my account could be suspended for three months and offered a deal I couldn't refuse in relation to the remaining time.  Unfortunately that rep never followed through on what he said he would do, so while in the Solomon's I used the online system to send a message asking why no action had been taken.

Two days later, my account had been zeroed and suspended and I received a nice email from Vodafone apologising for their oversight.  Now that I'm back in NZ (and had managed to misplace my original SIM card) I obtained an on-the-spot replacement from a Vodafone reseller then called 777 to get my account reinstated.

I was through to a CSR well within a minute (so the $1 pre-pay charge appears to be doing it's job) and my account was all go.  I then logged into "My Account" on the Vodafone website and selected which Add-Ons I wanted.  I received a couple of text messages early the next morning advising the Add-Ons were loaded and available for use.

Fairly much everything has been quick and simple, I couldn't be happier.

Awesome news, generally they are good, I am very pleased with them too, hence not moving and just 'downgraded' my plan to stay with them for another 2 years Cool

I always like hearing positive experiences and compliments over criticisms. There's too many emo's around these parts. Thanks for sharing Smile

Thanks for that - I'll pass that on to the team here.

I really appreciate you taking the time to post.

Cheers
