Still got a pre pay sim with them, I doday wipped it out, waited for the 20 TXT's to come through from belated new years and fired up Vodafong LIVE! to download the new SIMS 2 game as it just looked jaw-dropping., Problem of course (It's Vodafone people....)

So I phoned thm (from my 027 of course to incur max call charges to them)

I was greeted by Welcome to Vodafone, What urgent or essiential service may I assist you with tonight.... I explained half of it, only to be cut off and told that I have to phone back after 8am tomorrow.

I asked what "urgent or essential" meant..
Lost/Stolen phones
Overseas Roamers
I asked "what about faults"? Nope, not "essential" so they would refer me to call tomorrow, even if it's a calls or TXT fault. Okay VLIVE issues are hardly urgent but still annoying when the slog dog of a portal is not only slow but extremenly unreliable, I suspect my handset was reflashed for VLIVE against my consent and not loaded correctly at their end to identify it.

May aim of his post is not really a moan session about Faulty VLIVE, the dog it is, but what happenens if you are in the middle of nowhere and got overcharged for wap, went to use your phone and you'd hit your imposed credit limit due to some of their "overcharging" issues, you phone in and are told "it's not immediate impact" I could be wanting to send an urgent email through GPRS, they would say, Sorry dude, we are not helping even though i'm here.

Telecom too have had their own overchaging things, usually however it's genuine faults and not just "billing issues", Telecoms was a network timing issue due to the clocks going out of synch.

ARGH! Anyone want a PrePay sim with $700+ credit?

I thought you had moved to Telecom? And how come you have a Prepay SIM with that much credit?

I had an exact thing happen but with the Vlive Stuff news area. Same error message. Called 777 around 7:30 (was on my way to work) and got blown off. The problem was back then - I worked for most of the day and so I didn't really have 1/2 hour to a hour to discuss what was happening and no it isn't my handset etc etc...

And what hacks me off is when I actually called after 8am... they were equally unhelpful - "Just try again later and see if you can connect later".
