I'm after a internet/backhaul capability off the Bombay Hills (in a southwest direction), 100/30MBit or faster would be great.

I've got about $300-$400 per month to spend. Is this doable?

Anyone know if there is a list available of people selling capacity from Bombay?

I would say the chances of getting 100/30 for anywhere near that price is nothing but a dream.

Do you have any evidence to back this up? Supplier names or approximate prices?

I've been offered a 450MBit option for $500 per month, but this required me to purchase a pair of licensed radio units ~$8000, get a radio engineer to design the link (~$800) and pay the annual (~$250) license fee. Doable, but looking to see if there is a slightly cheaper option, perhaps in public spectrum.

Edit: this was for 450Mbit to APE, rather than "internet access"

Maybe contact one of the Waikato / Auckland based Wisps or Wired Country? I can see Wired Country have both 7 GHz back haul and a 3.5GHz licence (presumably a hub licence to service their customers??) at Pukekohe Hill (Topo Grid Reference BB32 680 781) at least. There seem to be other sites near by but I'm not a local on where you can "see".

I'm basing my comment on the fact you're really going to need to buy DMR kit to guarantee that sort of throughput, so while you may pay that, you're going to have upfront costs.

You could look at unlicenced kit such as an Airfibre that will set you back around $4.5k per link.
