Hi all

I have been using 2Talk with Acrobits softphone for all long time, but never managed to get push notifications working as they should be. Normal calls works perfectly fine with both WiFi and 3G/4G but when calls come via Push Notifications, neither me or the caller can hear anything. I have tried changing all the available settings and codecs but no luck, Acrobits support could not help either. Does anybody know how to get it working. Thanks

I’ve just been reviewing my VoIP devices and softphones.

Acrobits Softphone. I’ve purchased lifetime subscriptions for Android and iOS, at about NZ$14 each. Acrobits Softphone supports push notifications for both Android and iOS. To avoid one-way audio when using push notifications to wake up the softphone I needed to switch my 2talk numbers from 2Talk Plus platform to 2talk Lyra, refer https://support.2talk.co.nz/what-is-lyra. If anybody is interested I can provide my Acrobits Softphone settings.

Looking for work-around to VoLTE, 3G switch-off.
I'll have a look at Acrobits, but personally leaning towards Jami, possibly LinPhone

Android used to have native VoIP support, but that's been retired a while back.
which sux!
