Just thought I'd post about an experience I've just had with a Nilfisk C120.7‐6 waterblaster. Bought November 2017, had been going fine although it hadn't really had much use. In February this year the pump randomly started not kicking in when the trigger was pulled. It would still work, but I'd have to pulse the trigger on and off, or hold it down for 10 - 15 secs to get it to kick in.
Emailed the place I bought it off (it was a few months outside it's 12 month warranty at this point) and they advised they would contact the distributor. Didn't hear back from them, so I emailed again earlier this month and they apparently contacted the distributor again, then sent me down a warranty claim form.
I filled this out and then called the distributor to confirm if they could organise a courier pickup or if I needed to ship it back to them. They asked me to email them the claim form, which I did, they promptly emailed back, apologizing for the issue and said they would send me a new waterblaster free of charge, and they didn't want the old one back.
Not once was the fact it was out of it's warranty questioned, and while I've not received the replacement yet (this was only yesterday) I'm sure I will, and it's very refreshing to get service like this.
