Hi everyone,
Just would like to hear from anyone who's had to file a report with Trademe Dispute Resolutions and if anyone got their money back via buyers protection or is it a lost cause?
Background:
Ordered a OP 7 Pro and paid via Ping on 8 July to a seller that has over 99% positive feedback and seller had been on Trademe for several years.
I then saw whole bunch of consecutive negative feedbacks left by other disgruntled buyers for this seller, after the order, which I started getting concerned with alarm bells ringing.
So sent seller several emails and no response whatsoever so I filed a disput resolution report with Trademe on 16 July.
Fast forward to today, it's basically the same as what others have experienced, initial communication from seller saying they will get back with tracking details after a few days and then radio silence.
Have seen seller responding to some feedback saying they've had email issue over the last few weeks, which is load of BS because they use Gmail.
Trademe dispute resolution has only gotten back to me today saying they've been in touch with seller asking them to contact me directly to resolve the issue and have replied to Trademe advising the seller has not made contact despite several email contact attempts. Trademe will get back to me within a week to review my case under buyers protection.
TBH I am not holding my breathe of getting my money back since I don't see how Trademe would agree to provide a refund to everyone affecte.
The negative feedbacks have continued to flow in and Trademe had removed all the seller's listings last week.
