Anyone found a way to get a Bluetti EB70 in NZ?
Gordy
My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.
These looked pretty good.

I am still interested. Maybe if you copy and paste the URL into the posting it would work. π

Not a solution to OP requirements, but somewhat related. I was given a Waka Waka solar light/charger a few years ago and it's been a handy little device. Totally solar USB charger, torch and camp light. They use profits to provide power solutions to developing countries as well, which is a nice extra.

I guess there are loads of similar (or better) devices around now, but this one has been great.
So I just brought a battery box: https://www.jaycar.co.nz/p/HB8504?pos=1&queryId=bed59ba5cf8cc884b407bb63b66e5b46&sort=relevance&searchText=battery%20box
and an AGM battery to go in it - 100AH.
Seems to last forever. Run LED lights, blutooth speakers, charge phones, sometimes a small fridge if more than 2/3 days away.
Use primarily 12v stuff off it so no inverter, and easy to keep an eye on the voltage so you know when its getting dodgy.
Use a trickle charger in the garage when it's not in use, and a fairly small solar setup when we're camping. Just plugs in using the anderson connectors.
But heavy at 25kg, seems a lot simpler and cheaper than the products above.
Other than the inverter, and weight due to lion batteries not 100% sure I see the advantage.

Makes sense when you don't need to operate anything on mains power. I don't know what the efficiency losses for an inverter are but it can't be good. The only device I can think of that might need an inverter is a laptop power supply which is going up to 220VAC then back down to 19VDC. The efficiency losses would be awful. Not that you need to take the laptop camping but could be an issue if for temporary emergency power.
