Sure. But the topic question also states why. One could argue that raises the question why pay for access to the Guardian, Washington Post, etc. when you can legitimately access these for no cost.

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Good point and I will answer that. I elect to pay both The Guardian and Washington Post because I see the quality output and wish to support in a way that is good for both of us - they get some money I get good content.

Not everyone has easy access to libraries that provide it etc. either, I suppose.

Our South Wairarapa library actually charges you 50c to borrow fiction not written by a New Zealand author, a policy that annoys me so much I won't use the library. That and the fact that they seem to be of the view that a library is also a children's playground.
