As most agree, TradeMe is a terrible UX, outside it looks ok.
Its search functionality being its main draw back, being limited to what trademe think we want which is so far from reality, if only Ebay had entered NZ for trademe got time to gather force we would be like the rest of the world and have a global market place with a fantastic search engine, all be it not as funky in colours as trademe.
Anyway, I want to find a used PC that will get me about 20k 3dmark06.
I dont mind having to buy the GPU seperately as long as I have the ability to do so in my tiny budget of $500.
Ive seen some old gtx 660 setups with i5s which show up at around 6000 pcmarks under passmark.
But its really hard to find the systems, you search for gtx 660 and when you think you have found all there is you just browse and find another one. Its search engine is perhaps not flawed but non functional for a user experience perspective.
Also I HATE how trademe allows either new stuff in USED or dealers in private sales.
Any tips on how to use the search engine outside " " etc would be appreciated.
Also to pull 20k I might have to set my sights on 15k. But im not familiar with AMD cpus which makes things hard.
Cheers one and all.
