And by chops I mean the ones with a bone and the crackling.
I normally grill mine in the oven but this doesnt always work out so well.

kiwifidget:
@clinty what sort of air fryer?
I have the cheapo Micassa from HN ($99 on special) - had it around 5 years now - even have a spare in the cupboard for when it gives up. Warehouse and Kmart have similar ones for $80-$100
It's all you need - the other brands are well over priced for the same thing
Its also fantastic for bacon
Clint
Couple of minutes in a microwave on full power.
@kiwifidget You're seriously missing out by not having an air fryer. We use ours most nights for dinner.
Go get yourself a digital air fryer from Kmart. Tonnes of things you can do in them, Bacon, Fries, Salmon, other meats and even your humble pie.

We are on to our second Tefal Actifry as it happens.
Its on its last legs though.
We've only ever done chips in it.
And I dont think you can get Actifrys anymore.
An air fryer that does chips and chops would be awesome!
Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!

I outsource it to the local Pak'n'Save. Some of the best crackly pork I've ever had.
(It can be hit-and-miss across stores, this is the Wairau Road one. Get there around 4:30 - 5-ish when they've just done a fresh batch for the evening crowd).
kiwifidget:@eva888 that sounds delicious, but Himself would consider it sacrilege to remove the rind!
@neb , I usually avoid the supermarkets between 3-6pm but could be worth a foray.
Eva888: The favourite here is breaded.
Dry the chops and salt lightly. I remove the rind but leave the fat on.
Pulse some bread to make approx 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs, I make more and keep in the fridge.
Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, a little Parmesan some oregano and about 3 tbs olive oil and mix in. If you’ve got parsley, chop a bit in as well but not if you’re going to keep it for another time.
Mix prepared mustard French or American with a tsp mayo (or not, plain mustard is fine) then smear mustard mix on both sides.
Dip each chop in the breadcrumb mix. Oil in the pan, fry on each side, carefully so as not to lose the crumbs and just enough to brown a little. Don’t mess with them as they fry until a light crust forms.
Then lay them in a baking tin and bake at 350 about 20-25 minutes.
Sinfully delicious and best eaten before an angiogram.
