Hi

Wife has flipped quite a few things on Trademe over the past year and would like to include on here tax return.

Unless Im missing something I cant see a way to export a list of sold items (transactions) for the past year?

Thats really poor if thats the case. I really hope Im missing something otherwise I have to trawl through old emails.

Cheers

I don't think you need to pay tax if you sell household items. If they were purchased specifically to be resold for profit maybe you do.

Google gave me this:

and

Disclaimer I've never used this

Thanks @Nate001 I did google and had seen most of thsoe options but not the request account summary. The export tools on the website are limited to 45-60 days as far as I could see. I'll see how the request goes :D

If you have made a net profit of more than $200 in the tax year you need to declare it and pay tax

Tax is not paid on items you sold second hand for less that you paid for them (same as a garage sale) but if you buy something and sell it for more, tax is due (remember to keep receipts for mileage to post office, postage costs, packaging costs, every other legitimate deduction)
