Just reading this article today, it seems strange they wanted a private hearing due to embarrassment and personal reasons, made me think, what extra measure are taken by corrections with "at risk" prisoners that someone might find embarrassing and personal?

There is plenty of mentions of strip searches and checking of clothing in this Corrections Department Document,

Prisoners have lots of time on their hands, so ensuring that Corrections comply with the letter of every law is a common hobby for those inside....

As occured in that application just because a person makes an application does not mean the application is accepted.

It was rightly rejected by the judge. I mean he published his rant online and then live streamed himself committing the massacre. "Embarrassment" is the literal least we can do.
