Geeez enough with the cheating lol....

anyone genuinely get this? I stared at it for hours trying to get it (about sixty seconds actually).

No - its not a trick question, its not mathematical either. Its really just lateral thinking with a healthy dose of logic applied to it.

As I said, my answer is already there. It took me a few seconds to get the answer - but a few minutes to start the laptop to post. Check the HTML source and you will see my answer as a comment just after my first post... Or I can post it here.

Can you explain, how you get that answer? I kind of get a slightly different answer.

1

one 1 from the previous line = 11

two ones from the previous line = 21

one two and one one from the previous line = 1211

one one and one two and two one from the previous line = 11 12 21

three ones and two two and one one from the previous line = 31 22 11

one three and one one and two two and two one from the previous line = 13 11 22 21

Then my answer:

one one and one three and two one and three two and one one from the previous line = 1113213211
