garvani: Sorry in advance these could be basic questions, im trying to get my head around this.
Whos sets the prices for access? I see that is on Northpower fibre, so does northpower set the access charges or is that handled by a governing body such as crown fibre? I hope its the latter, as your going to have vastly different prices/plans for the entire country. Chorus are laying the fibre here and i have a bad feeling about what they are going to charge if they are indeed the ones that will set the prices, one could only dream of that sort of plan under Chorus administration!
There is a contractual agreement between Crownfibre and the LFC (local fibre company) that won the tender for each region.
See "Price Books" for the wholesale prices at the bottom of the page

Wholesale prices will be similar, end user ISP prices will be different of course based on the ISP's other costs and whether they position themselves are a high performance or cheap isp.
