charsleysa: Which modem version do you currently have?
On the 6.06 on 7340 it's 1.68.24.25

7390, 5.22 DSL version 1.68.19.17

I heard that in the 6.03 beta you were able to choose your modem version.

Maybe they pinpointed the fault using that and created a new patched modem.

quite possibly, i heard this too. however didnt want to try it myself, as the 6.0 firmwares have been seen to update the bootloader versions blocking downgrading below 6.03 again.

Really? That must only apply to the 7390 because I upgraded my 7340 to test out 6.04 and when it didn't work I just downgraded to 5.22 like normal.

heard of it applying to the 7360s too. 7340s could be another story again as they are being phased out.

HiTM4N: For the new firmware for 7340...
ftp://ftp.avm.de/fritz.box/fritzbox.fon_wlan_7340/firmware/english

The firmware update page on the Fritz box should pick it up automatically so no need to manually download it yourself.

still handy to dump them considering AVM are becoming quite painful with their deletion of decent older firmwares.

spectrum has always been real time, simply the bitswap doesnt update on b.22 unless you refresh the page.

How do you know if your DLM has been reset?

Snap have told me it has, but I wasn't reconnected, so I'm not sure. Unfortunately they aren't answering my emails to complete our support request - but probably easy question here :).

in my experience, their email support has been great.

it depends on what sort of reset method is used as to if your connection drops or not.

you should see movement within the week, if not give them a call and check up on things.

It was good. I just think the guy I was talking to probably left for the day/weekend, and then nobody else takes over the conversation.
Thanks for the advice.

It has been 5 days since the 'reset' and nothing has change on the connection. I took a screenshot most days and it's identical.
DSL connection active without reset 5 days and counting.

Yeah I went from 17a, then had a few connection issues and Snap support suggested DLM reset. Then I got stuck on 8b

edit: Will put in screenshots in a second :)
