joker97: dude are you talking MBps or Mbps?? there is an 8-fold difference + signal overhead loss
3MBps = 24Mbps which would be nearly about right

cyril7: Not all servers can provide as much throughput as we have seen here, most limit per connection to save their own performance, dont be surprised if 90% of the internet cannot supply you with as little as 5Mb/s max throughput.

rayonline: I have Fiber 30Mbps so have obtained 3.0-3.3MB/sec in actual transfer speed off MS with the Win8.1 Preview ISO. What sort of actual transfers are you guys getting with a 100Mbps connection?
rayonline: I was just interested in the actual transfer speed from a single download re: 100Mbps. But then I wonder ... about countries like Japan. If they have a 1,000Mbps connection do they transfer at 120MB/sec??
