Is there anybody here using VDSL2 in half bridge mode at all? If so what modem are you using and have you had any issues with it at all?

Zeon: Using Full Bridging here with no problems. The modem suggested by our ISP is quite expensive though, its some Thompson with VOIP ports, wireless N, USB, gigabit Ethernet etc. that really is just there to bridge VDSL2 =S

Cheers.. Is anything special configuration required for the Thomson?
LennonNZ: Yes the Zyzel VDSL Routers can just bridge the connection out the ethernet and all you do is run any PPPoE client and get the real world address on the device being the PPPoE Client. I've set up quite a number like this with no problems at all

Can you tell me what device you're using as your router? It looks like it can be done with TomatoUSB + some command line work, however if you've found another device which PPPoE clients supports vlans I'm keen to hear about it.
theEd: There is of course the Vigor2750 ;)
Otherwise, +1 for the ZyXEL.
theEd: Yeah the 2750 is a full-blown Linux router so a bit overkill if you're just bridging with it.
I'd love to see a VDSL version of the Vigor120 :)
