I'm pondering a ethernet NAS device, so myself and my beloved can share files more easier (and because it would be nice to have network storage). :)

One I've come across is a Linksys NAS200 with 1TB of disk for around $620.
Has anyone seen/used these?  I'm after comments.

After something a little bit beefier than your average 1 disk solution.. but not too extravagant... Raid would be handy
(would likely mirror a 1TB Nas for data protection).

I've read on a couple of sites the NAS200 is rather slow... it seems the only way round this is to make a hardware modification inside.. however that looks a bit beyond my soldering skills! ;)
