Hi Guys,
Any ideas for killing the DVD region restrictions on a PC?
Running Vista.
Cheers

xpd: The OP wants to remove DVD restrictions from his PC....didnt say what for... so I dont see it a problem him asking.
Plenty of legitimate software out there to do such things anyway, if it was illegal to remove the restrictions form your PC those developers wouldnt be in business.
Now if he had said "I want to remove regions from my DVDs" then it starts getting a bit more "dodgy".

DVD restrictions are put in place to stop DVDs from being played in a region for which they were not intended. Obviously, you are able to up the 5? changes, and you can buy multi-zone home theatre DVD players.
IMO the OP is wanting to circumvent this security feature. Unless you can provide another reason as to why this feature was put in place, and why the manufacturers do not unlock it for you? I will assume breaking it, is circumventing their security measures, regardless of their reason.
