I am 77 years old and play on my PS3, PS4 Pro & Xbox Series X. I only play single-player games nowadays because my reflexes are too slow for multiplayer.

I bought Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (series X) a few months ago on special for $59. I struggled somewhat with the wall-running platforming parts of the game.

I came to where I had to find Rayvis on the Shattered Moon. There is a section in that quest where I had to do multiple wall-running & jumping on platforms, that flipped away & returned, at the same time, timing my moves to avoid the laser beam. I died many times. So many that I found that I had lost my enjoyment of the game.

I sold it for $40 on Trade Me. This is why I don't buy Digital games as they are $20/$30 dearer than places like Mighty Ape, which sell the Disc for $99/$109.

If I had bought Digital, I would be stuck with it and out of pocket. My way, I enjoyed quite a bit of the game and I am only out of pocket by $19 & saved many GB of space on the Xbox HDD.

Playing Detroit -Become human again, god i love this game. When they say every choice matters they are not kidding , you can kill off the main characters with your choices. I managed to kill Kara the first time she appeared and played the first time through without her. This is the 4th time through and it is like a new game. with my new choices the whole story has changed. Highly recommended  but on PC it is easier to play if you have a controller.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

@vexxxboy
Reading your post jolted my memory. I bought this game in June 2019 and have never played it. I had loaned it to my Granddaughter. She tells me that she played it through and returned it but I had forgotten about it. She says that the story is interesting and agrees about the choices changing the gameplay. I will start playing it on the PS4 Pro next Thursday.

Ghost of Tsushima is a MASTERPIECE.

I don't use that phrase often. There are lots of games I love and find hugely fun, but as many will have seen me comment in the past, storyline is typically the thing I care about the least, I prefer to get my assignments with as little chit chat as possible, then go get my rewards.

The main storyline was pretty amazing, far better IMO than the Last of Us and GOW Ragnarök, then the large substories were genuinely engaging, and I felt properly invested in seeing it through to the end, and seeing those chapters closed off, and whilst there is a bit of 'busy' work, a number of the small incidental missions were quite visceral. There were a number of plot surprises, which I quite enjoyed. I also finished the extra Island.

I found the start of the game a bit challenging, but enjoyed the game much better with a bow added in.

I have about 20 ? locations to finish, I should be done with that tonight, then I would be complete except for finding random banners, which I don't care enough about to rescour the entire area for again.

I am not sure when I'll find a game like this again.

Just freaking WOW.

Started playing XCOM2 again.

Such a brutal game with no forgiveness for mistakes.

Xcom and it's ilk are one of my favourite genres/series of all time. I don't think I've ever managed to 'clock' one though. I always end up near the end having something fundamental unbalanced and get smashed.

I recently played xenonauts 2 in early release. That is fantastic too.

Ghost of Tsushima is a MASTERPIECE.

Looking forward to the adaptation, especially if it's anywhere near as good as Shōgun currently.  Ghost of Tsushima is the only game I've every played where I cleared each part of the map before moving on to the next, other than the things that send you back to those locations later.  I got majorly sucked into its world, especially finding and duelling all the Straw Hat Ronin.  It was also much different in how I played the combat.  Most cames I hack and slash and throw in some not-very-dextrous special moves or spells/crafts/etc.  This one I found way more fun being patient and turning the enemy attacks against themselves.

Yes - truly brilliant game - which I completed  a few years ago. One of the very best.

Another vote for Ghost of Tsushima.

I had been on a mission to complete Elden Ring, then Dark Souls 1,2 & 3 but halfway into Dark Souls 1 I got sick of dying all the time and decided to try Ghost of Tsushima.  And yes Wow, the graphics are amazing, the storyline is good and once I got used to it, it plays very much like Horizon, which I loved so much I played both games thru twice.

Im only 8 hours in to GoT so far but definitely enjoying, even collecting all the items and side quests is a lot of fun.

Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC now, was debating getting the director’s cut on ps5 but now it’s a no brainer for real 4k on 4090.

Helldivers 2 is also a good sort of fun with mates as long as you pick the shorter missions, the big maps tend to result in holding sprint for a long time.

I've clocked all the more recent versions.  I had to ragequit on this a week ago as I got to a point where I'd simply failed.  Surely it wasn't that hard the last time I played it?  Chimera Squad is the easiest I think.

I can't recall the last time I didn't get into the last quarter of an XCom game and didn't realize I hadn't balanced something right and I was unable to take on the final 25% as I was just so far 'wrong'.

I didn't find Chimera easy at all :)
