Try it again. The strategy is to always take the options to up your attack turns and push theirs down so as to prevent them from firing in the first place.
With limited time these days I found a little text-based game that works on mobile and web browsers. Old school nostalgia with good online fun. Only need to spend a few minutes a day on it.
Been keeping me busy since having to put the steam deck to one side

I am 77 years old and play on my PS3, PS4 Pro & Xbox Series X. I only play single-player games nowadays because my reflexes are too slow for multiplayer.
Could be fun to LAN with other people your age so you're on a level playing field?
Like the Masters games...
Still playing Raft..... 3 of us been ticking along (unfortunately no cloud server, so have to wait for original host to come online to play the joint game), rather large but messy raft with dual engines :)
There is a story, but does not have to be followed to enjoy the game :)

Started playing Death Stranding.
I've no idea what I'm in for, not reading any reviews but this game is damn weird. Cut scenes are far too long and its makers like to show off its graphics a bit too much for my liking I can't help finding out what's around the next corner ...
Palworld still since its on gamepass but have hit a point where I have to go to an area that has really bad graphical glitches and doesnt render in the terrain so you fall thru it. Got really P'd off when I fell thru and my flying mount was incapacitated and it was just swimming around untill dying as there was no way out.

Started playing Death Stranding.
Don't quite get how to play this yet. Firing grenades off doesn't seem to work as expected and I end up being trapped regardless
A short hike. Nice simple little game on game pass about hiking up a mountain.
I am not generally a favour of Rogue likes, but on the strong recommendation of someone who likes what I like gaming wise, I decided to get Returnal a go.
It's great, though frustrating. I haven't managed to make it past the first major boss mostly due to my own lack of dexterity, which is normally something I am reasonably good at, but can't seem to get past the third tier of the boss.
I have spent a lot of hours on it, and am still having fun. It has a compelling story that unwinds even on your failed attempts.
Am slowly getting back in Rainbow Six Siege, got bored of all the other shooters (especially with this years COD being a dumpster fire) so thought I'd go back to one that is still kicking.

I finally got past the first boss. I made it all the way to the second boss without dying and then got smashed. I am having quite a bit of fun. I got the boss to within 20% of death last time.
Started Fallout76, not bad after they refined it since launch
