wake up to a server disconnected error.
Tried logging in, and Server under maintenance, please try again later....

Now you can flip a dice whether "Error 37" server busy or server under temp maintenance
or BattleNet service temp down "Error 75"

So checked out Server Status and there supposedly back online - but still getting all 3 msg's

So after work yesterday I went home to install & the pre download data is all corrupt & gets deleted.... 7 gigs wasted..

Start to download again and going at 200 - 300 kbps :( estimated completion time 7-8 hours with an isntall after that.... Very angry at this stage

Blizzard has switched over to a streaming download (like wow) which i thought I should switch to also

Much better speeds & only needed to download a min of 3gb roughly to play

After a long wait to login managed to get to level 14 with some friends and having a blast, I am looking forward to doing a solo play through to catch all the Lore that I'm missing (anyone can skip the dialouge in multi)

I agree it was a pathetic launch, why they could not just have a streaming install from day one I have no idea...

Lan & all nighter this sat with a goal to get us all into nightmare

Hmm Global Play is active, but damn the characters, items, and friends are kept separately from each region. :-(

Well I have played this for 3 hours now, and I have to say.... It's not that much fun. Recently I have played Prototype 2, Amaular Kingdoms and both were FUN, I enjoyed them. It's not ...Engaging or something.. It's not like I won't play any more, I will, but if it's a huge game, I am not sure if I'll bother finishing.. The thing that makes games fun is the rewards, and there just isn't enough side missions or whatever...

D3 just seems like click click click (anyone else having accuracy issues with mouseclicks....

I also don't like the fact I can't select my own attribution distribution like a traditional RPG..

Yeh I am still a bit woozy about gearing etc, whether to level BS or just get off mobs etc what weapons are best for my Wizard but its all experience. I do miss the stat changes however, I don't think the original Diablos had that (been a while since played).

Gearing? Not sure what you mean by this. I just got to the part I can make my own gear, but I am not sure I'll bother. I am finding the combat runes a bit of a pain.

Yeh my runes keep detaching themselves I have to keep checking to make sure they are on. But too be honest, so far I am enjoying myself.

Logged in - single player for a few levels - fun. little bit of lag.
Quick Joined a friend, killed some stuff - cool!
logged out.
logged in again - killed stuff for an hour. Got the look from the wife - back to uni assignment.

Can see myself spending a LOT of time with this.

Dual Wield daggers + chance to stun = stunlock bosses ftw. Barbarian is AWESOME.

Forgot to say I rolled a Monk.... awesome a mixture of tank dps heal Oh & you drop a bell on enemies.. wicked haha

The runes are great, sure they can confuse you when you gain a couple of levels quickly but once you read over them a few times you will pick them up very quick.

They add a great little bonus to the skill you are using ie my heal now also does Holy damage

For crafting it is described as being a source of gear for those slots you just cannot get the drop for, while they are good they are not the best. Good idea to level them up though as it is shared by all of your characters (except Hardcore) - Tip... put your salvaged mats in the stash for all to share. Also don't even bother with white items you will fill up your bag far to quickly for no profit

Difficulty on normal is nice and easy & as you get to different areas you will notice the change in mob's HP & damage. Inferno difficulty will be interesting - for each new party member mob's health will increase by 110% & damage by 15%

If you are after some free xp then join a random Public game and just sit in town - You will get the quest xp for all that the rest of the team do & progress along the storyline without having to do anything.. This way you can go do the washing or lawns and still level up :D

Anyone else got some good little tips?

Also in reagrds to what weapons are best for each class it depends on the stats they have. If you open your character screen in the top left of that are all the stats which tells you the best stat for you.

Dexterity for Monk & Demon Hunter
Strength - Barb i guess
Int for Wizard (& i would guess WD)
Vitality is life for all of them

If your close quaters then life steal is good
