Assuming your requirement is still Gigabit WiFi performance than I'd recommend 3 x Aruba AP-515 AP's and a 2.5Gbps POE switch. You should be able to source the hardware for probably $3500 or so

I got this bridged port installed from the ground floor and i checked all cables are in cat6.
Will this be of any help?

That bridged port patch panel is only going to provide point to point. You are going to need a 1gig+ switch so something like a 2.5gig or 10gig switch. POE switch would make sense then you can power any AP's as opposed to having to use injectors. Add AP's via POE - Unfi U6's are nice and powerful as well but will require a controller. They are powered by POE or injectors.

Thanks. So a switch 1gig+ from the bridge port and will connect to the individual ports per floor, right? Could i use the HyperFibre ONT terminal provided which they said acts like a modem router too?

Hi OP, any chance you could explain why exactly you need more than gigabit bandwidth? There really aren't that many usecases for it right now...

Comes down to what you are trying to achieve. Can you share what your plan is? also how fast Hyperfibre did you sign up for or intend to sign up for?

The Hyperfibre ONT has 1 x 10gig port on it. The rest (4x) at 1gig.
So uplink the 10gig port via the patch panel into a 10gig switch and then patch off this to the panel.

This isnt going to achieve much however as you'll be limited by the device its connected to unless that device has a 10gig port on it which almost no do without a seperate card or similar.

Whats your plan?

As I've asked before - what are you hoping to achieve by switching to Hyperfibre? It doesn't sound like your use is actually that extreme.

Are you having bandwidth issues currently you're hoping Hyperfibre will fix?

That bridge port is going to do nothing for you.

It is designed to connect phone lines (Or ATA ports) to multiple outlets around the house.

Data outlets need to be connected via the patch panel modules to a switch (Or router etc).

Doubt those terminations would do 10g much justice, I recommend getting them re terminated regardless of what speed you may or may not use.

I struggle to get 500Mbs (WiFi) on an AmpliFI HD Mesh setup. that router isn't bad for a consumer model, I am struggling to see any benefit with having Hyperfibre.

The majority of my network is wired, with the phones and laptops on wifi - on wired I am getting 950/500 on local servers, internationally it drops considerably.. so wouldn't hyperfibre suffer from the same issue, meaning international traffic speeds would be similar to a subscriber on a 950/500 plan?

Or am I missing something?

So unless you are moving large files from a to B I fail to understand the need for much over a few hundred Mb/s, I manage commercial and govt installations with hundreds of users, and monitoring the WAN interfaces I can assure you a 950/450 connection rarely if ever gets to capacity.
