Hi,

Unable to connect to Spark servers with the new router.

Have settings of PPoE.  Just cannot get on.  Sparks reply was to Speak to TP-Link.

The support from Tp-Link I was unable to comprehend her English.

Read a few forums and a member uploaded Archer c7 bin file.  This model is an archer c9, could not find menu for Vlan 10.

Any assistance would be great.

If the device doesn't support 802.1q / VLAN tagging so you can add a VLAN10 tag it's not going to work.

The Archer c7 does support vlan 10 with a special firmware. There are models of the c7 sold on the nz market that seem to have the vlan10 firmware already installed, or if you need this firmware you can request it via Tp-link support.
Would be surprised if the c9 would be able to load the c7 firmware.

On the c7 the vlan stuff is under network/IPTV and you need to set 'mode' to vlan and then it displays options to let you set vlan options.

The Tp-link online router emulators look like the settings are under the same menu area as the c7.

The c7 default firmware would let you set vlan up, but wouldn't let you set the value as 10. It would only go as low as (from memory) 16. Hopefully the c9 accepts 10.

I have the c9. Under IPTV settings, select Mode "custom" and you can do all your VLAN settings there. It seems to accept vlan id of 10, with a tick box for 802.1q

Thank you all for replying, will certainly be looking at "Aussie" suggestion.

Never thought to look there.
