I've used dns4me.net for a while now.

I'm wondering if something like surfshark is better?

https://order.surfshark.com/

Will that do the same thing? the issue I have with DNS4ME is that it takes a while to change from Australia to New Zealand if I want to watch tvnz on demand for example.

Any experiences and feedback please.

dns4me costs just under $13 for 3 months.

I haven't personally tried it, but I think based on what I assume you are using it for, DNS4ME is the better option.

DNS4Me is a DNS Service, where Surfshark is a VPN service.

Exactly what's the difference?

I thought surfshark allowed you to do this also?

I have both, if I get a hiccup with dns4me I use the Surfshark. It is very good with  ntflix. Its also allows unlimited devices so I share it and k@yo with my brother. Speeds are also pretty good.

I see the have multiple servers in Australia? Can you select which one you connect to?

DNS4ME connects to NSW which is okay but if this allowed you to connect to Brisbane or Adelaide for example. It would be a deal changer.

Have you watched 9now on this?

Yes, you can select which server to connect to.

They have end-points in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

No, I have not watched 9now.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Was able to watch with surfshark using Sydney server on browser.

What a dns service has over a vpn service, for streaming, is the amount of different devices it can be added to.
