I hope someone can help before I give either of these things a flying lesson! Every time I try to send photos from my nokia to my iPaq via bluetooth I get "failed to send". I can send business cards etc but unable to send photos or video, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP! You are my last hope.

Sorry Wolfe, but the Nokia 3650 will only send images and videos to another Nokia. IF you want to use Bluetooth you'll have to transfer to a PC using Nokia PC Suite and then to your Pocket PC.

The files are always sent as PIM items instead of File Transfer.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I should have said in my original post I managed it once a couple of months ago. I then realised after your post that I had installed a new driver for BT I decided to revert to the original BT driver on the iPAQ and ...yahoo it works! Problem is I originally changed the driver in order to allow me to use an SMS programme on the iPAQ so that will probably not work now! I will try it and see. Thanks again for the prompt reply.

Does it work? Interesting because I'm using the original driver on my H3970 and every time I try sending a file it goes as a PIM Exchange, and the file is not sent.

This also happened when trying to send the same file from the mobile to my desktop - that's why I though was a problem with the phone Bluetooth.

It works perfectly, if it is any help the driver (?) is Bluetooth Security Manager Version 1.1 (Compaq) If it is not too much bother can you possibly recommend an SMS programme for the iPAQ and do you know if a programme exists which allows video from the phone to be viewed on the iPAQ?

Yes, this is the same version. And that's what I receive on my H3970:

The same with my desktop (as I said). It accesses the PIM Exchange. Very strange. Perhaps I need my mobile upgraded to a newer firmware.

Would it help if I told you what the firmware is on mine? If I knew how to find it! LOL

From the phone application you enter *#0000#. Mine is v2.50, but I know there's a new one around.

I think mine is the same v 2.50 13.02.2003 NHL-8. I can also send video from the phone to the iPAQ, but can't view it.

That's because the video is in 3GPP format. You'll need a 3GPP compliant software to view it. Apple Quicktime works fine on Mac and Windows for this.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I will only be able to view the video on my PC and not on the iPAQ
