I am looking looking at getting a Nook Color and either rooting it or booting full Android from a SD card. It would be for mife so she has a compact tablet to carry around and use.

 
 The online reports suggest that it makes a decent Android tablet for the price but I wa wondering if anybody here has done it and their experiences.
