I have got a bunch of these Lenovo 40AF0135AU docking stations that need to be cleared out:

https://www.lenovo.com/nz/en/p/accessories-and-software/docking/docking_usb-docks-(universal-cable-docks)/40af0135au#

They are all sealed in boxes, except the one I opened to take photos of for Trademe.

Listed here: https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/computers/laptops/docking-stations/listing/4239621872

Geekzone price will do them for $180 each + shipping

That is a great question, I can't say I have personally tested them with a Dell laptop but I believe that it should work with anything with Windows on it.

The compatibility link seems to be ok if you change the location top right to NZ and then search for 40AF0135AU

They are displaylink so basically any laptop will work.

From memory I don't think I had great success using these with Intel MacBooks, but never really tried to troubleshoot either!

Yeah fair point, Mac support has always been a bit so-so.

Also, while Displaylink is fairly universal, it is software+hardware so older laptops can sometimes introduce a bit of lag compared to plugging in a monitor via HDMI etc

We found issues with connectivity with the default firmware in these, but there is updated firmware at support.lenovo.com that seems to resolve it
