wanghou168: got slightly confused by some posts
say I bought a 50mb pack for the month, and I used up all the data within the month
Will I be charged 10c/MB or 50c/MB the standard rate?

The out of pack rate after using your 50MB is actually 50c/MB so you'd be better buying another 50MB pack. The 10C/MB out of pack rate is for the Mobile Broadband data packs

As I understand it if you buy a data pack and exhaust it before the month is up you pay 10c a megabyte up to the expiry date for that month. So if you buy a 50Mb pack on the 1st of a month and use it all up by the 20th of the month the next 10 days of that month will be at the 10c a megabyte, However I presume that if you dont buy another 50mb pack on the 1st of the month you would then go up to 50cents a megabyte. That is the way it appears to me but give 2degrees a call and check it out first

Yes, this is how I understood the terms as well. I saw it on a 2 degrees paper booklet flyer so I cannot paste the exact wording but I assume it is on their site somewhere.

A 50 mb pack lasts a month.

Yup, the 50MB National Data pack lasts 30 days but it does say on the website that the out of bundle rate is 50c/MB, the Mobile Broadband packs do have a 10c/MB out of bundle rate though. This makes sense as the National Data pack rate at $6 for 50MB works out at 12c/MB so it wouldn't be logical that the out of bundle rate would be cheaper and they want to give you an incentive to either buy another National Data pack or even up your purchase to a Mobile Broadband pack.

That is correct. After the 50MB pack is used up, you are charged at 50c/MB again (unless you have also bought a broadband pack and used this up as well).
