I've changed the offloading to vlan still no ipv6 on eth0.10
I've also done a full power cycle -> shutdown -> unplug -> count to 10 -> plug back in. no change

Configs basically look the same except you have vpn setup, I'll dust off the fritzbox and see what happens with that and if IPV6 starts working (I assume it won't).
I then have the joy have calling support.

Is IPv6 over PPPoE meant to work on the Vocus network? I've been on Vocus for years and when they introduced IPv6 I could never get it to work on PPPoE. I was told IPv6 only works on DHCP. Sure enough once I switched to DHCP it worked. Would be good to know whether IPv6 is definitely supported on PPPoE.
However, for IPv4 it should just work regardless of whether you use PPPoE/DHCP.

I've have now connected the Fritzbox 7560 to the ONT, upgraded firmware from 7.12 to 7.29.
IPv6 still doesn't work on the fritzbox - I can't ping -6 google.com - I get the ipv6 address (so dns is working), but request timed out 100% failure.
The laptop I was testing with is assigned an ipv6 address but fails. So now ipv6 is not working on 3 devices (windows 10 Laptop & Windows 11 & Android S21 phone)
The fritzbox is showing an IPV6 address as well as the /56 prefix
ping -6 google.com
Pinging google.com [2404:6800:4006:811::200e] with 32 bytes of data:
ipv6 test sites all fail, geekzone doesn't have the ipv6 icon
I noticed the IPv4 DNS server addresses are new as well (moved to slingshot dns 202.180.64.10 & 202.180.64.11).
Not sure where to look on the fritzbox to find what ipv6 dns server is being provided.
But in short, looks like 2degrees have had some issues with this move over for some users where ipv6 stops working.

I'm also on ONT port 2 (as yet another variable to add to the mix).
Will spend my saturday morning on the phone getting them to look into my ipv6 subnet hopefully just a push button.

I had to remove the following section:
protocols {
static {
interface-route6 ::/0 {
next-hop-interface eth0.10 {
}
}
}
}
I've just switched to 2Degrees UFB today and after tearing my hair out all evening over why I couldn't get IPv6 to work over the ERX (but worked fine with a laptop plugged into the ONT), it turned out to be this exact issue for me. Thank you so much for this post. Oddly enough at my parents' place on Slingshot the config worked completely fine with the static route for IPv6 in place so I never even thought to change this.
I'm well and truly brassed off with 2D. Just found out that port forwarding hasn't been working and it's because of their migration earlier this month. I was told the static IP hasn't been migrated to their new system so that's why it's not working. They have now migrated it but it still doesn't work even with power cycling the ONT/router etc. They've now provided a new static IP and it still doesn't work. Ports being port forwarded on the router are are shown as closed when using online port checkers.
Does anyone know what could be going on? I doubt it's a router configuration issue as everything was working fine before the migration.
Really annoying they don't provide any notice and even more annoying is waiting a total of 2 hours (2 calls) to speak to someone. 2D used to be so much better. Seems like support is what Vodafone used to be like.

skewt: Are you using one of the ports being blocked by the port filtering?
https://www.2degrees.nz/help/broadband-help/troubleshooting/port-filtering
This is also a gentle reminder from a security guy to check what you've got forwarded. Forwarding to IoT things, routers etc should never be allowed as these are designed with no security in mind and will likely end up being compromised. Port filtering and CG-NAT is fantastic to catch people out who do that.
You can check https://www.shodan.io and GRC Shields UP to ensure you've got things closed off. The less things you've got forwarded, the better. Use Tailscale or a VPN for everything that shouldn't be out on the public internet.
Also @nzed23 as I did do a quick check you should seriously be using a VPN or Tailscale instead of exposing 3 very high risk items to the internet. You shouldn't get angry at your ISP for filtering these high risk ports especially when you're forwarding high risk and insecure things.

Thanks - I am accessing password protected cameras via a NVR + home automation on ports that are not being blocked by 2D so not sure why the port forwarding isn't working after 2D did their migration. Very keen to use a VPN like Tailscale but can't figure out how I get Tailscale to work with a NVR, where I am unable to install it on the device itself.

Install the Tailscale client on a machine within your network, and use the route settings to allow access to your NVR, you'll define the routed subnet/s within the client itself.
