Can someone on 2D with a Fritz 7590 show me their settings please under Home Network / Network / Network Settings / Ip Addresses / IPv4 Settings  please ?

As per my thread in the Neon/Streaming forum, I've somehow broken any streaming video (inc Zoom).....

Thanks :)

Since you have now been switched to the new 2D network, the older SNAP settings that are baked into the FritzBox firmware might be causing some issues?

I had a FritzBox from Snap years ago and I downloaded the "generic" firmware from AVM and when I shifted providers the FritzBox stopped getting the message "received updates from ISP" or something along those lines.

As my understanding 2D are moving to Netgear and phasing out the FritzBox so I guess these settings will become unsupported soon.

A fresh reload might sort it out here is the download link

Current settings..... if I change the DNS, still no go. :-/ But with all these migrations going on, I'm confused as to which DNS I should be on now :D The internet info page shows the DNS being picked up is Slingshot.

I use piHole and have local IP address set in both places - Local DNS server (network settings as above) and also in Internet Account page - DNS Server - DNS4Server address.

Here is a good help page describing this. So you have DNS server for web requests and local DNS server.

Have you tried resetting your fritz?

Have reset DNS again, and now streaming appears to be working on mobile devices again, but TV is still no go.... :-/

Restarted the router multiple times.

DNS under Internet Account is set to default ISP provided.

Have you checked TV network settings are not set to static? But if DHCP, then you could try static and use 8.8.8.8 as DNS to bypass router / ISP dns settings just incase.

Is this wired or wireless? You could try changing wifi name and see if that fixes TV. Random idea.

Current settings etc :

Only things I can put the issue down to is :

1) Neon changed something and no update for the app

2) 2D DNS fudging something up.

Everything else appears to be working again since I added the above DNS.

FYI Im on static.

Have you tried other DNS providers such as 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1 etc?
