I'm having some issues setting up a Superview 890 Freeview Sat. receiver. I had it all setup and working 100% until I disconnected the Sky decoder in the living room. From my understanding the Sky decoder was powering the LNB. So I swapped out the 3 way splitter with a 3 way All ports powerpass splitter thinking that would solve it. Other options I have tried in the Superview settings are: 22k to on/off, LNB power to 13/18v, 13v, 18v
12V to on/off. With the Sky decoder connected and doing a blind scan. Freeview channels are detected at 11300.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as my knowledge is limited.

Hi, you'll need 18v (horizontal) turned on and 22kHz turned off. Lnb power needs to be on as you suspected.

Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestions to no avail. Here is a screenshot of the settings menu.
I tried setting TP to 12456 as well as the default of 12391, 22K to off,12V on,LNB Power to 18V.
Also tried LNB low Freq set to 11300. I also tried it at the default of 9750 and 10700 but none of those settings seem to work. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

LNB type should be single or normal ku. LNB frequency should match the LNB on your dish. Usually 11300 or 10750.
Setup your transponders as 12483MHz and 12456MHz
Set both symbol rates to 22500
To eliminate cabling or splitter problems, tune it in directly connected to the dish first. Then move it to a split feed after channels are found/stored.

Good luck!

The voltage setting there is correct. Leaving it free to switch from 13/18V is good. Then when you are in the transponder menus set H pol for the polarisation.

I finally got it working. I put a joiner on the cable coming from the LNB (Ku Band LNB 10750) by the way... to the cable running to the receiver. I switched it on and did a blind scan and worked straight away.

Thanks for your help and advice.
