I have been searching for backhaul's in regard to WWE/Wrestling and have been told that on one of the AsiaSat's satellites has the backhaul i am after, has anyone ever gotten access to one of them from here?

Asiasat 4 is doable for most of NZ. I use www.dishpointer.com to make sure the location is OK and short of obstructions such as trees, you should have no issues. An 80 cm dish will get you all the Ku band freq. and a 2.2 mtr mesh dish will get you the c band services. www.lyngsat.com will tell you what is currently available.

edit. Asiasat 5 is on the horizon for Auckland so is a little more difficult.

100.5E you are essentially pointing the dish horizontally (along the ground rather than vertically up at the sky) more chance of terrain obstacles unless elevated on some high rise building, furthermore C band signals are weak to begin with so you'd need a large dish.

The WWE feeds are on Asiasat 5, BISS encrypted. You would need a 3.7M + upwards minimum

I know about the BISS encryption, but i honestly don't think I will be doing that. 3.7m dish would be too much.
